University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM)
University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) is a Spanish young university, with a high teaching and research potential. It has four campuses located in four cities: Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca and Toledo. It is a modern, competitive institution, which hosted more than 25.000 students, 2.500 lecturers and researchers and 1.100 administrative and services staff members. This implies having a great human capital at the institution, making it a smart option for those who wish to improve their lifelong learning and also for international students who chase their academic, vital or language enrichment. UCLM integrates 36 academic departments offering 60-degree qualifications, having two peculiar features: a) it is multidisciplinary, undertaking work in practically all branches of knowledge; and b) its activities are very wide-ranging, embracing the spectrum from basic research to technological development. More specifically, this project will be carried out by IGOID Research Group (Research in Sport Management and Sport Facilities). IGOID Research Group is a consolidated group founded in 2008. IGOID has participated in more than 30 R+D+i project founded by national and international agencies and more than 30 innovation and technological development contracts with private and public entities, in their function of knowledge transfer. Therefore, this Group is not only dedicated to research but also to innovation and the transfer of knowledge to society.
